Letter from the editors ...
Dear Chumz Readers,
In this first issue of 2005, we have news on some exciting developments at Chumz, including a reality TV show that will be produced in May and the first of our monthly activities for Chumz mentors and mentees! Our teenage writers also continue to offer their take on topics of interest to young people, from violence in New York City high schools, to lighter topics like one writer’s passion for the iPod. In “Fun Stuff” we take a survey of some students’ New Year’s resolutions, as well as look at the latest books and movies. We hope you’ll find plenty here to give you ideas for 2005!
Sincerely,
Joselyn Smith-Greene Clara Lee Editors
